Himalayan Learning tries to support girls and women in everything we do. At least 2/3 (or 66%) of sponsored children are girls, and all our projects are designed with girls in mind. Why not sponsor a child today.
We also encourage our schools to support girls and women too. We talk to teachers and the community and encourage them to create private areas for girls only, build gender-separated enclosed toilets, and hire women teachers.
