We’re off to Nepal for several months to work on the new projects that Himalayan Learning has been devising. We’re hoping that we will be able this year to work even more closely with the local communities that we help with your kind support.
2006 will be the year that we are building the local women’s committies so that women can be empowered into working for the sake of their own future and their children’s future.
We aim to start women’s groups near all the schools that we currently help in, so that they can take full control of their own destiny. By helping them to help themselves, we can make people more independent and more creative.
We will also be setting out to get the budgetry requirements ready for the new computer project so that in 2006 we can work to put the donated computer to use!
